Aged Woman’s Bad Accident

Mrs. Edward Cain, of 3} miles smith of town, met with a bad accident Sunday forenoon. While out doors emptying some ashes, she slippedon the ice and in falling broke the right femur, or thigh b me, where it enters the hip joint. The necessary surgical attention was given in the afternoon, and it is hoped she will make a reasonable recovery from the injury although to one of her age, 78 years, the breaking of a hip is always a very serious matter.
