City Cannot Give Bonus.

The right of a city to give a bonus to a manufacturer to secure the locatiou of a plant has been denied by the Indiana appellate court in a decision rendered last week. The court holds that it is illegal to appropriate public money for the encouragement of one class of industry, when all other classes are entitle to the same benefit from the funds derived from taxation.
