SOME CHRISTMAS STORE WINDOWS.
The Christmas trees are beginning to bloom out. up aud down the street. As usual, the big corner window of the Bargain Store has a speeially elaborate and attract! ve Christmas window. Two neat red brick houses are built iu the window with snow covered roof's, aud with pretty rooms, and in a corner of each of which there is a fire place aud chimney. And just getting ready to slide down one of the chimneys is good old St. Nick just loaded down with Christmas presents At the same time he takes careful note of the location of the other house and chimney, and Tris intention to pay that a friendly visit, also, is evident. One of Rowles & Parser’s windows is also very beautifully decorated, with a little brick house as its leading feature. This house does not have a Santa Claus, but a fine Christmas'tree, instead. The Racket Store, also has a neat Christmas window with a good Santa Claus. Both the Santas are rather sporty looking old fellows and both are smoking away for dear life. E.’D. Rhoades’ hardware store window also makes a good showing but not so elaborate and novel as some of his son Leonard’s previous efforts in that line have been.
