Obituary.

William H. McDonald was boin near Lexington, Kv., August 28, 1824, and died at his home near McCoysburg, Inch, Sunday, Dec. 10, 1905, aged 81 years, 3 months and 12 days. He was the son of Mordecai and Sarah. McDonald, and of Scotch decent. Deceased came to Rush county, this state, with his parents at the age of 6 years./ On Dec. 3, 1846, he married Mary Thurston.at Greensburg, Ind., and to thi!? union eleven children were born, five sons and six daughters, and of these, five sons and five daughters remarb to mourn his departure, his faitaiul wife and one daughter having preceded Ipm. The deceased moved from Deca tur county to Shelby'county in 1852 and ip 1&62 he came.to Jasper Co., and hab Since resided here. Four years ago he was attacked with Brights disease from which he suffered constantly until his death. The funeral was held here, Tues day . afternoon, at Trinity;M. E. church, and was largely attended. The religious services were conducted by Rev. G. H. Clarke, pastor of Rensselaer Christian Church. Interment in Weston cemetery. All ten ot the surviving brothers and sisters attended the funeral, which was a most unusal circumstance, that so many children would be alive and present at the funeral. The pall bearers neighbors, and were James Lefler, J. R. Phillips, Clyde Randle, G. W. Bond, Reed*'' McCoy and Washington Lowman.
