Farmer Hopkins Still Has Adventures.

Farmer Hopkins, of northwest Barkley has got into the limelight again; this time through an adventure that befell him last Friday night; the night of the big snow storm. It seems that-' Farmer started home from town that day rather late as usual and the current circumstances, as ° well as past history, warrant the assumption that though the wagon was empty, the driver was loaded. Some .time? during the night Farmer’s team got home but the wagon and Farmer failed to arrive. Much anxiety was caused to his family, thereby, aud which was increased rather than relieved when his sons, as soon as it was daylight, went out and found the wagon, bottom side up, by the side of a hill, near Kdrah Daniels place; but no trace could be found of the missing Farmer. Every effort made to locate him failed, bight Saturday, he turned up, safe aud sound. His story is that when his wagon tipped over he was‘stunned by the fall, and did not know which way he went, and that when he came to himself, he was way up east of Zadoc, some, eight or ten miles northeastrof his home. He took the C. & E. I. and Monon roads around to Parr, where he was not much nearer home than he was at Zadoc; and .walked home from Parr.
