Methodist Ministers Meet.

The Methodist pastors of the Valparaiso district at their con ference which closed at Westville Wednesday took steps for an evangelistic movement to be inauguratthe coming year. It was decided to purchase a large tent which will be used for meetings at various points in the district to build up the membership in all the churches. The district was divided into four parts, and chairmen were selected as follows; Valparaiso—H. L. Davis. Hammond—L. 8. Smith. Goodland —T. J. Bassett. Rensselaer —11. L. Kindig. •< The spring meeting will be held at Whiting in April.
