The race meet at|the Stock Farm Thursday, attracted quite a large crowd of spectators aud several good horses. Ose Ritchey was there in good shape with the running horse, |J. W. Walker. Ose sold him at auction last Saturday, and C. P. Wright bought him for $125; and very soon thereafter sold him back to Ose, but at what price is not stated. The following is the result of the races: Quarter mile, best two in three. Won by Lady Garnett, belonging to S. Spencer, of Wolcott, in two straight heats. Jack Brown’s Smirk, of Mt Ayr, second. Jap Wrights LaTrappe, of Mt Ayr, third.
