Death of Mrs. Henry Shipmat.

Mrs. Irene J. Shipman, wife of Henry Shipman, died Monday/morning, Oct. 16th, at their home in Newton tp., about six miles southwest of town. Her sickness was a complication of diseases, heart, lungs and kidneys all being affected, and had continued since last winter, when it began with an attack of grip. Her death was quite sudden and unexpected at this time, however, as she seemed to be improving on the day before her death. She would have been 61 years old the 24th of this month. She leaves a husband and two grown daughters, one Mrs. Everal Smith, the other unmarried and living at home.»The funeral was held last Tues day afternoon, at the residence, and interment made in the Powell cemetery.
