THE COMING RACE MEET.

A race meet will be held at the Stock Farm track, Rensselaer lnd., on Thursday, Oct. 26th. The following purses will be offered: Quarter mile heat, best two in three, S2O. Half mile mile heats, best two in three, S4O. Money divided 50, 30 and 20 per cent. Mile dash SSO. Divided S3O, sls and $5. Open to all. Entrance fees five per cent of purses. Five per cent, will al-o be deducted from winnings Races to begin promptly at 1.30 p. m. A wrestling match between W. Ritchey, of Rensselaer, and the Medaryville,champion. Also a 100 yard foot race, for purse of $5. All surplus money, above actual expenses of meet, will bo given to the poor of Rensselaer.
