OBITUARY OF W[?]LLACE ROBINSON.
Our community suffered an irreparable loss through the death of Mr. Wallace Robinson who passed away on the morning of Monday 9th inst. Mr. Robinson death came as a shock to the entire community; it being but a few days since he had been about, attending to his busiuess affairs, in his quiet cheerful w r ay, and during his brief illness he seemed to be making SJch progress as warranted the hope that in a few days he would be restored to health again. The deceased was born in Jasp e County, Indiana, Bth, of April 1858, where ’he'spent the greater part of his life and where on Dec. 25th, 1881, he was married to Miss Lily A. Burk, who with three of of the four children born to them is left to mourn his death.
Mr. Kobinsou's sterling integrity of character, splendid business ability and quiet cheerful goodness won for him the admiration and respect of a very wide circle of acquaintances. He was one of Unsubstantial men of our city, a man of deep religious convictious, a consistent yet unostentatious Christian. In the hour of his death, conscious that he was about to depart, he smiled in the midst, of great pain and rejoiced in the assurance that through death he would pass into larger life. The funeral services were con ducted on Wednesday at the home, by the Rev. W. Gourlay Connell, pastor of the first Presbyterian church; assisted by the Rev. Orrin \V. Stuman, of the M. E. church; iu the presence of a large concourse of friends who mourn his loss and extended th ir deepest sympathy to his bereaved family. Lamar, Colo.
