Another Court House Marriage.
Thomas- O. Hickman, a young fellow from about Newland, came in Saturday after a marriage license, and was much disappointed because he did not have the prosl>ective bride with him to make good for her part of the application. HoweVer he hustled around and just before six o'clock himself and the young lady, showed up at the clerk's office, got their license while they waited, for a preacher, and at six ( wero mariied in the e’erks office, by Rev. H. L Kindig The groom is 23 and the bride only ltt. Her name was Miss Ida Esta Pratt. Her father came with him on his first trip and gave the necessary consent to her marriage. 8. M.
