Otis and other peti1b mers on the 6th day of October 1905 filed with the Judge of the Jasper Circuit Court and in the Jasper circuit Court their petition praying for the location and construction of a large open ditch on the following described route, towit: Commencing at a point thirty (30) feet, north of the north east corner of section twenty three (23) township thirty one (51) north, range seven (7) west, in Jasper county, Indiana, and fr un thence west on a line thirty (30) feet north of the section line to the public ditch known as the Otis Ditch, thence following the line of the Otis j Ditch to the one half section line of section fifteen (15), thence west or a line thirty (30) feet north of the section line to a point thirty feet north of the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of section seventeen (17) and ft • m thence nonth to the center of section seventeen (17) and from thence in a general northerly directionfollowing Ibelineof the said Otis Ditch to a point in said Otis Ditch west of and near the center of section five (5) said township and range where the same will have a good and sufficient outlet, said ditch being wholly within the said eounty of Jasper and State of Indiana: that said ditch cause by order of court and by endorsement on the petition th refer is set for docketing on Monday, November 13, 1905.
