Arranging For Soldiers’ Cottage Dedication.

At a meeting of delegates from the several soldiers organization of Jasper County at the office of James N. Leatherman, County Auditor, who represented Jasper County, to make arrahgements for the dedication of Jasper County Cottage of Indiana Soldiers’ Home the following proceedings were had: James N. Leatherman was elected chairman, and James F. Irwin, Secretary. Ralph W. Marshall, James F. Irwin and E. B. Vondersmith, weie appointed, as a committee on transportation, to secure train, make rates, arrange schedule of time for leaving and returning and to fix date of dedication. Erastus Peacock, D. H. Yeoman, James E. Stiller, Mrs. Ella Hopkins Mrs. R. W. Marshall and Belle Green were appointed committee on pro gramme and entertainment to arrange for speakers, music etc. Mrs. Emily Hagins, Mrs. Hettie Reynolds and Mrs. Sarah Green, were appointed as committee on refreshments, to arrange time, place and manner of securing luncheon. These committees are expected to get together and arrange to do their parts immediately and report progress to this committee on Tuesday evening Oct. 10th, 1905, at 7.30 p. m. at Auditor’s office.
