In a letter to political friends in Logansport Governor Hanly has stated that he has been informed by Attorney General Miller that the state has recovered every penny due her during the term of default ing Treasurer Obenchain of that county’, and that if the settlement on a basis of 50 cents on the dollar allowed by the Board of County Commissioners is reopened it mu t tie by the taxpayers of the county.
