Otis and Other petitioners on the 6th day of October 1905 filed with the Judge of the Jasper Circuit Court and in the Jasper Circuit! court their petition praying for the location and construction of a large open ditch on the following described route, towit: Commencing at a point thirty (30) feet north of the north east corner of section twenty three (23) township thirty one (31) north, range seven (7) ■west, in Jasper counts. Indiana, and from thence west on a line thirty (30) feet north of the section line to the public ditch known as the Otis Ditch, thence following the line of the Otis Ditch to the one half section line of section fifteen (15), thence west or a line thirty (30) feet north of the section line to a point thirty feet north of the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of section seventeen (17) and from thence north to the center of section seventeen (17) and from thence in a general northerly directionfollowing the line of the said Otis Ditch to a point in said Otis Ditch west of and near the center of section five (5) said township and range where the same will have a good and sufficient outlet, said ditch being wholly within the said county ot Jasper and State of Indiana: that said ditch cause by order of court and by endorsement on the petition therefor is set for docketing on Monday, November 13, 1905. The same being the first judicial day of the November Term 1905 of the Jasper Circuit Court and that you and each of you are hereby notified of the filing of said petition and the day set for d< cketing thereof and that your names and your lands are mentioned and described in •aid petition as being affected and which ought to be assessed for the construction of said improvement. A Notable Theatrical Event

At the Chicago Auditorium Monday October 16. Beginning Monday, October 16, at the Auditorium, Chicago will be seen what is universally conceded to be the largest theatrical organi zation and the most collossal and magnificent production known to theatrical history, it is that of Kia w & Erlanger American reproduction of the greatest of the English Drury Lane spectacles entitled Humpty Dumpty. Its Chicgo presentation will be the same in every detail as tl at which charactrrizedthe London and New York engagements for the past two years, and with the same ; r at cast and tremendous ensemble which comprises between 350 and 400 notable comedians, singers, dancers, specialists, pnutomimists and acrobats. Klaw and Erlanger, the Manager of Humpty Dumpty, who last Fal presented am t her one of their important ]>roducti<»n’’Ben Hur’’ at the same theatre. have made every ejjort to make thi>. their latest production of spectacle, the mightiest and most gorg* ous of all theatrical achievements, and are said t<s h<|ve produced the most colossal yicrger of mirth, melody and magnificence known to the annals of the stage, totally eclipsing anything that has gone before. An idea of the immensity of this production may be gleaned from the fact that more than 350 comedians, singers, dancersand pantomimists appear in it. and seventeen scenes, each as elaborate as an entire ordinary production, and more beautiful than has ever been seen upon the Amerscan stage, are used.
