Frank Haskell, having bought out his foimer partner Sim Head rickson, has associated with him George Bell, au experienced, rapid and very careful barber, and the firm is now Haskell & Bell. They invite all in need of work in their line to give them a trial. They guarantee a neat and well kept shop and satisfactory work. Shop on Cullen street opposite the Makeever House. Haskell & Bell I have a good nine room house on two big lots wood house l>arn well and fruit all in goodconditiou. I will take 3 good horses, wagon, harness, buggy, cow, 2 sows and some chickens, cultivator harrow, and breaking plow as part pay. Mr. F. W. White, Musical Director and a Incensed Violin teacher from the Marion Conservatory of Music, has located in our city and is now ready to receive scholars at his home on north Front street. Same courses given as are taught at the Conservatory's. Also teacher Mandolin, Guitar etc. Would like to organize a class of at least 15 boys or young men on Clarinet to take part in the band. 'The earlier you start your children in music the more proficient they become, it rightly instructed. Last Car-load of peaches for the season, at Eger’s next Tuesday and Wednesday Sept. 26th, and 27th.
