One Jasper Co. couple has mad* a trial at the St. Joe Mich . brand of mairied-while-you-wait. The couple were Mr. Van Wood, son of Harvey W. Wood one of Marion townships best know citizens, and Miss Anns Phillips, daughter of John W Phillips, of McCoysburg, and now and for many years past the abh county r assessor of Jasper county Ou Thursday of last week Miss Phillips left home ostensibly tc visit her uncle at Delphi and alse the state fair, and was well staked 'vith spending money by her liberal father. Instead ofgoing to Delphi, however the young lady gob side racked at Monon, and headed uorth, and the next heard of hei she was married at St Jo?. There was no parental objection on either side to the young couple mirrying, but they simply con c’uded to have the affair pulled ufl in that way. They are now spending part of their honey-moon at the groom’s parents, southeast of town but we are not informed of their iulended permanent location.
