Present Building Operations.

Prac ically all of Rensselaer’* present building operations are now confined to two jobs, though both are notable of their kind and will add much to the permanent attractions and advantages of Rensselaer. One of these jobs is the big building on Washington street, which is really three buildings in one, and three different owners. Work on this is making excellent progress, and by the end of the week all of the foundation work will be completed and a pretty big start made on the briok walla. The other job is the almost immensely big chnroh buildiDg the Christian Churoh congregation is erecting at the oorner of Busan and Van Rensselaer streets. This is also nuking excellent progress and not only is the stone work of the basement completed, but also the four courses of oement rook work, from the grade line to the main floor, and the frames are partly raised.
