An Abundance of Rain.

The heavy thunder storms whioh viaited this region Friday night, were juat what the farmera were wanting to keep their oorn on the jump. And in fact they wore beginning to get on the anxious seat, aa in moat placea the grouud was getting very dry. Now, however all their wanta in the water line are abundantly supplied, for many days to oome. In fact it ia probable that moat oorn fields could make a pretty good orop now, without any more rain at all. The total rainfall here waa 145 inobea. which inolnded however what fell in a light ahower early Friday morning. ITM* large quantity of water fell in a auooeeaion of ahowera, and thna had plenty of time to all soak into the ground. It will alao be a great booat for the potato orop, and pastures.
