A Fire Loss Promptly Settled.

Th re was a fire in Rensselaer about a week ago which has escaped the attention of the newspapers. It ocoured in the clothing department of Wildberg’s Ideal Store and in one table of that department and in one suit on that table, Somebody evidently dropp’d a littli but “pizen” piece of fire from a cigar or pipe and before it was descavercd it had burned a considerable hole clear through the many folds of all the different garm?nts iu the suit, The damage was $8.50 and fully covered by insurance in eight agencies. The insurance agents divided up the lost in proportion to the amount they carried andthe sum each paid ranged f om 50a to $125. It was probably the promptest settled fire loss that ever oocured In Rensselaer.
