Bowers Renders Decisions.

Referee Bowers has reached decisions on two of the three important matters that have just been tried before him in the McCoy cases, In the moat important of any, in the view of the trustee the right to file and have allowed the overdrafts due from Alfred and T, J. McCoy, indvidually, his decision was the same as before the question was before Judge Anderson. Namely he decided that the overdrafts can not be allowed to be paid* Trustee Chapman says this decision if upheld by Judge Anderson would make a big difference he thinks as much as 10 or 15 per cent, in the amount the depositors would eventually receive. However Mr. Chapman is perfectly confident that Judge Anderson will reverse Referee Bowers on this point; ss the Jadgi plainly intimated when the matter was before him that the overdrafts ought to be allowed. In regard to the outrageous claims of the Lafayette, Delphi ana other banks to be allowed to file against all the estates, and thus become preferred creditors, rnd get all tbeir money whether the deposit rs got any or not, Mr. Bowers again decided against them; and which decision Judge Anderson has plainly intimated he will sustain. The matter of Tom’s supposed old time mortgage is still under Mr. Bowers’s consideration.
