The Moffitt Ditch Again.

Auditor Leatherman is again advertising the sale of the big Moffitt joint ditch, on July 21st. The time for the completion cf the ditoh has long since past, and ss yet less than a half miles of the whole 17 is constructed. The land owners are losing the use of their land year after year, and much of their menby to pay for the ditch has been paid in and is now lying idle in the county .treasury, * ’ Therefore, acting on the demand of the land owners, the auditor is again advertising the sale of the ditoh. R. B. Moffitt, the subcontractor, has recently started up one dredga and now has contracted for another and it is possible that he and the land owner will reach some understanding before July 21st, where by the auditor will be willing to withdraw the notice of the sale. He will not take that course, however, unless the property owners mainly interested request it.
