June Is a Goner.
‘ Long and sweet were the days of June, but “short and sweet” is the record thereof. It was a month when we bad sunshine to throw at the birds, and the birds were there when the goods were delivered. The sun got up early every morning, end stayed up late every night and generally got there with the goods in the sunshine line. There were 21 days in the month so nearly cloudless as to be officially class ed as clear, four as partly clear and only five as wholly cloudy. Toe two last previous Junes had each only 10 clear days, and June 1902 on J y eight. Thera was rain here on 10 different days, with a total precipitation of 1.77 inches, practically I j inches, It would have b?en none too much had not May left everything S 3 thoroughly soaked. The hottest weather was 93 degrees on the 17th, and the coolest 44 on the Bth. There were five days of 90 degrees or above and a remarkable amount of the just right to be pleasant kind of weathes. In truth it was one of the finest months whose advent ever brought joy to the heart of man and sorrow by its departure.
