Private Car Lines.

The railroads seem very willtag te have the private car lines brought under the jurisdiction of the Interstate Commerce Commission. A railroad president is authority for the statement that lines are paid mileage, without discrimination, and the question of excessive charges is a matter for the shipper to settle with the car lines, sc long as there is no law to govern their rates. Car mileage paying has been decided to be as legal as tbe payment ol rental for property.
