An order it soon to be issued by Postmaster General Cortelyon forbiddingjpostmasters from taking an' active part in the management cf party politics in their districts The question cf activity on the part of the postmaster general has now before him a re quest for a ruling on this point from Senator Penrose of Pennsylvania, ohairman of the state committee of that state, The other case arose in Maryland, where a factional fight was being waged between federal and state fao’ions.
