Kokomo is Sore.
Kekomo is dead sore on the new cities and towns law and the indig nation has reached the stage of threats of disincorporating and reincorporating as a town. The additional expense of running the corporation under the new law has alarmed the taxpayers generally and there is a pressing demand for a remedy of some kind, if any can be found. Members of tbe council nave submitted the matter of disinoorporation to competent attorneys for an opinion, and if found feasible steps will be taken toward the annulment of tbe present obarter. Probably, however, the real trouble with Kokomo is not the expected increased cost of running a oity government but the fear that Gov. Hanly will interfere with their privilege of having a wide-open town, as he can do nnder tbe city laws, with their metropolitan police boards
