The grand jury, which it was, thought would not be called at all this term, has finally been ordered to reportjhere for duty next Wednesday morning, April 25th. What special reason may have arisen to make their presence necessary is, of course, not generally knoyvn. though it is generally surmised tnat some further consideration will be given to the McCoy failure matters, The faot that Hon, E. B. Sellers, of Montioello, has agreed to proseoute the McCoy cases, is supposedjto have had something to do with the grand jurv being called now. Two of our last terms state cases both from Dunnville, were dismissed, One was the case against Mr. and Mrs. August Treiohel, charged with illegal sale of liquor, aud which was tried and resulted in a dlsagrement. The other was against Aaron Claspell the prosecuting witness against the Treiohels,;|.who was oharged with unlawfully killing two pheasants
