Withsn a oircle of a few mites in oircumferenoe four private banks have failed and every one of them caused a heavy loss to the depositors, and every one of them on the day of failure announced that the depositors would be paid in full No one has been punished except the poor unfortunate ones who put their money into the private bankers maw, The argument that the private banker was responsible under the law for all he possessed was made, but it developed that the bankers were possessed of nothing.
