Harry Miller Under Arrest.
Our readers will many of them remember the absconding of Harry Miller, a traveling man well known here. aloDg about Christmas. He traveled through this section for Shafer & Co., of Frankfort, wholesale grocers of that oity. Shortly after he disappeared, Mr, MoClamrook, the head manßger of Shafer & Co., w«s here trying to got Borne cine to Miller’s whereabouts, the report having reached him that a Rensselaer woman had gone away with him; which report however, was without foundation. The sequel to Miller’s disappearance now oonoes in his arrest in San Franoisoo, on the charge of embezzlement, and an officer is now after him with a requisition from Gov. Hanly. His shortage with Shafer & Co., is reported at $2,500 to $4,000, while other wholesale houses are also reported to have lost through him.
