THE CIRCUIT COURT.
The two affidavits filed by Jasper Goy. of Remington, charging his wife, Josephine L. Guy, with attempting to murder him, on two different occasions, were argued as to their sufficiency, The oomt held that they did not spßoifioally charge any offense punishab’e under the laws of Indiana, and sustained a motion to quash. The defendant’s cash bail was returned to her. Another divorce suit was filed Monday, and bs the defendant is a non-resident, the case is continued for notice by publication, and it is made returnable the Ist day of the September term. This case differs from the great majority of divoroe oases, in that the hnsband and not the wife, is the plaintiff. The plaintiff ia James E Linton and the defendant is Nellie Linton. He lives in Newton township and is a farm band by occupation. Her residence is unknown.
