Comer gent Appomattox Sunday, April 9th , The Rev. D. R. Lucas, department commander of the Indiana G. A, R. has prepared an address on the subject, “Adpomattox Sunday and Forty Years After,” which has been sent to all the Indiana posts for their use in the observance of Appomattox Sunday, April 9th, The last general order issued by the department urges the observance of this Sunday, suggesting that the posts attend some church. The order is only a suggestion, not being mandatory.
