The chancellor corn mander if ths lodge there, sends to Rensselaer Lodge the following urgent mvitaion. De r Sir and Brotber:Be sure aud oome to Indiana Harbor on March 30th, 1905, to the District Meeting of our Distrct, Knight of Phythias of Indiana.
As a Pythian you will be warm!y welcome, as a visitor you willbe -ntertained; as a citizen you will be surprised and gratified when you look Indiana Harbor over. We wa it to show you what we have done in three years time. Indiana Harbor is going eome right now. Six million dollars has been planted here in mills to date, and we think that is an up-to-date, record. We talk about a million dollar plant during the winter and build it the n.ext summer. The Vanderbilts looked us over last fall and just couldn’t'help arringiog to blow in ten millions to build anomer railroad in this town io they could deliver a few millions tons of coal to the poor devi’s up along the Lakes who need it. We are so busy building a town ier we haven’t time to say any more than ask you to come up and iring up a strong representation ’rom your lodge and eei us work. Yours franternslly. Willabd B. Van Horne. Chancellor Commander.
