The above is a correct pitcure from photograph, of- Dr. Chas, Vick, an optician of many years residence in Rensselaer, aud well known throughout, northwestern Indiana. He left here on Nov. 14th last, to make a short visit in Lafayette, He stayed there a day or two boeght some articles and left at a relatives and went south ou a Ist night train, saying be was going to Crawfordsville and would call for his goods in a day or two. That was the last ever seen or heard from him by his relatives here or at Lafayette. He may have met with some accident or possibly lost his mind and memory or again he may have deliberately hive g one away, with no intention of returning, possib y j lining his son Charley whose whereabouts he may have known, though no others of the family do, He is about 65years old, a very large and B‘rougly ouilt man, of unusual fluency and intellegence iu his oonvers ttioc, His family especially his wif ■» is greatly distressed at his absence and anxious to learnlhis whereabouts.
