After one of the hardest legal contests ever fought in the Pulaski circuit court, C. W. Riddick editor of the Winamac Republican, has been acquitkd on a charge of criminal libel. The case, which occupied two days was filed by ExJudge George O. Burson, because of the publication in the Republican of an account of a fight in a'saloon on Christmas eve, which account Mr. Burton considered as re fleeting upon him . At a previous trial before a justice Mr. Riddick was found guil'y, but took an appeal
