The Dairymen’s Convention.

The First Meeting of the Dairymen of i Jasper County was held at the Court house Saturday. Prof. Van Norman, head dairyman at Purdue University Experiment Station was present, and is a very attractive speaker. In the'forenoon he gave a general talk on the subject, and in the afternoon gave hie formal lecture on the subject entitled ‘Profits in Dairying.” Following this Mrs. B D. Comer, of Union Tp.. the leading exponent of scientific and profitable dairying, in this county gave a piper in discussion of the same subject. —About 40 or 50 of the dairy people of the county were present and gave both lecturer and discussion very close attention, and no doubt derived great benefit from both
