That Electric Road Again

Regarding the project for a railroad which is to cross the northeaster u part of Jasper county the Delphi Journal has the following About seventy-five citizens of Rockfield and voinity. held a meeting in ihe Odd‘Fellows hall at that place, Saturday evening to oonsider’a propsition from C. F. Knowlton, a representative of the Indianapolis and Chicago Air Line Traction Company. The proposition is for the people of that place to furnish SSOO to make a survey from Flora to Rockfield. They are promised nothing in return for their SSOO, except receipts stating that should the road be built those giving $25.00 each will geta share of stock valued at SIOO. The citizens of Rockfie'd have raised SSOO to give the‘ company if the road is built, but will have to be shown first. There will be another meeting tonight at which O. F.
