( The board of township assessors met with oonnty J Aeseessor Phillips, Friday afternoon, to agree on a basis of assessment for persinal property, preparatory to their Blessing camptign, which begins next Wednesday, Maroh Ist, and assesses all propertyowned on that day, except such as the owner finds it oouvenient to forget. Hogs are also down a little, and pork and bacon of course. Grain is about the same as last year, but potatoes only half as high. Oris McCullough, of Giilara, was president of the meeting, arid Albert Keene, of Wlieatfiald, secretary. A*l the assessors were present except Mr. Allman, of Carpenter, who was'sick.
