This Knocks All Sales.
The public sale Thursday on the C, C. Kent ranch, A. D. Washburn manager, three miles south of Fair Oaks, was the biggest of this season and probably in the amount realized was the biggest that ever was held in Jasper county. Two famouk auctioneers, Col. Fred Phillips and Col. V. D. Clyne so’d the property and two famous clerks were kept on the jump recording the sales and drawing the notes, C. G. Spitler of . Rensselaer and W. H Ade of Kentland. A vast amount of live stock and farm implements was sold and a v vast crowd was present to buy them.
