The Stationery Contracts Let.

The Commissioners at their speoial meeting Wednesday received bids for the blank books, stationery etc. needed for this year that were within the appropriation, and the contracts were awarded. Burt, Terry, Wilson Company got Class One. such as blank books records eto, for $599.38. And Class three, suoh as pens, pencils, rulers rubbers, ink eto for $91.75. Viquesney Printing Company, got Class two, with aertain large blanks, oarbcn paper eto. for $35.88, Leslie Clark got Class four, suoh as letter heads, envelopes, eto. for about $l9O. The Burt, Terry people bid on Classes 1 and 3 only; Burford bid on all classes, and the Viquesney Company bid on 1, 2 & 3 and Mr. Clark bid only on No. 4 The bids are of course, by the artiole, but a 3 now requisitioned, they all aggregate about SBB7. They are very low bids, and fully S3OO lower than the best previous bids on the same goods, made in December and January.
