The depaitment of G. A. R* of the State has submitted its semiannual report to the oommanier-in-ohief. The report contains some interesting facts. On June 30, last, the Indisna department had 15,. 502 members with 412 p:sts' In the department there are now 403 posts, nine having surrendered their oharters. The membership in Indiana at the pr. smt time is 15,069. There has been a less by death in the last six months of 257. Bix huederd have dropped out of the ranks by suspension.
