The Kupke Insanity Case.
The inquest into the sanity of Fred R Kupke, o f Bark ey tp„ near Pleasant Grove, was held here this hat Tuesday so e non. by i Squire J C. Irwin and D a. Hartsell aud Washburn, and Dr. Stuart •f Monon, as attending physician. He is a well-to-do farmer, 47 years old and a native of Germany, B ea married 19 years and has five children. He was first observed to be meot-dly affected early in .November, when he began talking of some wrong he thought he had done, while serving on a jury. He also imagines some one is trying to get his farm away from him. He is delusive and melanoholly but only once has been violent, at which time he attacked his wife* and was overpowerd with great difficulty. He was pronounced insane and application wid be made at once for his reception at Lougcliff asylum. He recognizes his condition and is anxious to go to the asylum to be treated.
