ANOTHER WAY.
A stranger called at a hotel in a aerta’n town and sa : d he was broke Wndvery hungry. The landlord took him to the dining room and gave aiders for his dinner. When he got up from the table a twen’y dollar bill dropped from bis handkerchief which he pulled from his paiket. The waitress picked it up and banded it to the landlord, who ♦onfronted him with the fact and at once tcok out 75 cents,(so cents was the regular price,) and n turned $19.25 to the stranger, who was apparently dumbfounded <*nd speechless. Later on the vigilant landlord learned that the bill was counterfeit. —Kendallville bun.
