A Washington dispatch says: Congressman Brick today set the machinery of the United States geological survey in mo’ion to discover, if possible soma way of reelaiming the vast Kankakee maishes of northern Indiana. He made a formal request of Charles D. Wahott, director of survey that experts be sent to make a by drographio survey of northern Indiana, wiih a view especially to ascertaining the best way of draining the Kankakee swamps and estimating the probable cost.
