A COINCIDENCE.

A singular coincidence oonured in 1 the death of Gen. Reub Williams. The park in which ne was found in a perishing condition was Winona Park, the beauties of .which he was the fir to out lyearsagi, the article . <n bis piper leading to its purchase by Beyer Bros, and its conversion into the present greac-assembly resort. He was found lying at the foot of the of the natural ampitheater to which he had often made reference in speaking of the beauties of the place. Another cdd circumstance is that he was discovered by a dog which ran to its master, who was ,* passing pt a diett noe, and made him understand that something was wrong, thereby securing help for the dying man. G*en. Williams was noted for his kindness to dumb animals, and especially his liking for dogs. Every dog in the •ity wts bis friend, and it was due to his discovery by one of these faithful friend* that he was removed to nis home and enabled o converse with his family and friends before his dea'h.
