Good Prizes For Poultry.

As usual Jasper county poultry was right to the fr_>nt, at the national pmltry show in Chicago this we k. O. K. Ritchey won 7 or 8 prizes of different kinds on his turkeys; while Everett Halsteed made a big gobble of the big gobbler prizes. Ue got first on two year old and firat on toms under one year. The brd that won the first prize for two year olds weighs 46 pounds and is reputed to have the biggest frame of any turkey in the country. He was raised in Illinois, and at first Mr. Halstead only had a part interest in him, but he hatbought out his partner, and is now tie sole owner. The bird will bhere the first of this week, and will be on exhibition for a short tim«, in the front show window cf Ed. Rhoades Hardware Store.
