SILLS IS ON DECK.
The Washington correspondent of tbe Indianapolis Star says: “A. K. Sills, of Montioello, tbe Tenth Distriot member of tbe Republican State Committee, and alternate to J. D. O.iver. messenger, who will bring the Indiana electoral vote to Washington, arrived todiy. The warm fight between Oliver and Sills for the honor of being aeleoted as messenger resulted in a compromise, and Sills was made alternate. Sills was introduced to the President by Crampacker. Republioaa members of tbe Indiana delegation entertained him at dinner. While here he will look after the diet ibutton of Tenth Distriot patronage."
