PORTER STORE TO CONTINUE.

The people of Rensselaer and vicinity will learn with much satisfaction that the dry go ids and famished store of I. J. Porter & Co\ will not go out of busiaess, on account of the late death of tue head of the firm. Two excellent young men, oue bis son, the other his nephew, have formed a partnership and bought the balance of the stock, aud will continue the business. They are B >yd Porter and Faank Kresler, and the firm name will bs Porter & Kreder, The store will olose for invoicing next week, and for reparing and geoeral refitting of the room t and will re-op m f»r business on or about the l«t of February. Both of these partners above mentioned are not only most excellent young men, but are both thoroughly familiar with the merchandising business.
