Death of Silas Toombs

Silas Toombs, a quite well known and rather aged resident of Barkley tp., died last Tuesday, Jan., 17tb, at one o’olook a. m at his home about two miles nortb of Barkley M. B ohurob, He had been sick for several weeks, with a very aggravated dase of yellow jaundice, and though at one time h eseemed on the way to recovery, ke again took a turn for the worse, and failed rapidly until his death. His age was 69 yeais and 23 days. He had lived in that vioiuity about seven years Ho leaves a widow and four sons and three daughters. The funeral was held Thursday, at two p. m„ and interment made at the eemetery at Barkley ohuroh.
