It was tod inuoh to expeot that the iuy weather would not result ia some bad aocictante, especially to old people. Thus Mrs. W6od, wid >w of John Wood, living at the home of her eon Leonidas Wood, 7 miles east of town slipped on the ioe Sunday afternoon and broke her left leg ,a little above the knee, She was given the neoessar y medical attention but it is a bad injury, especially ns she is nearly 80 .years °ld. ~
