More About Hinshaw.
Rev. W. E. Hinshaw whom Gov. Durbin paroled as his last offioial aot. left prison Tdesday, and went over the Monon road to •is old home in Randolph county where it is said he will follow the vooation of a farmer. Tuesday’s Indianapolis News gives many columns to the oase, and from which it is evident that 'he previous statement that Gov. Durbin’s aot is almost universally oommended, must be considerably modified; as it is stated that at Danville opinion of Hinshaw’s t/uilt, is very much divided The attorneys who proseouted him are still as firmly convinced as ever that he was gnilty and they also state that no grand juror who helped indict him and no juror who helped try him. ever thought him innocent, nor were any of them consulted by Gov. Durbin before he issued his parole, The News republishes in full the story of the oase, as given by Supreme Court Judge McCabe, when Hinshaw’s appeal was deoided against him. The evidenoe 1 was eucb, in the opinion of all the members of the Snpreme oourt; “as to exolude, to a moral certainty every hypothesis but that of his guilt of the effense imputed to lim.”
